In our house a few days before fat Tuesday all the hustle and bustle begins with rolling, cutting and shaping dough into doughnuts and feverishly waiting for the paczki dough to rise.
This is a capture of these mouthwatering doughnuts filled with raspberry jam and Bavarian cream. This is a Polish tradition known around the world and passed down through generations.

About Deborah Klubertanz
Artist Bio/Statement Bio Deborah Klubertanz was born in 1962 in the state of Illinois. Purchasing her first camera at age 19 opened up her world to many possibilities. Portrait photography was her start into the photography world. Later Deborah would choose to photograph night cityscapes. Darkness through the view finder has opened up her creative inner self. Deborah's work can be seen at "The Grinde Cafe" in Racine County. Her work can also be viewed and purchased on her own web page. Deborah wants nothing more than to show her creativity in her photography and to open a gallery one day.
