This is a vintage Bell & Howard Filmo Double Run Eight video/movie camera. This camera was popular in the late 1930’s and early 1940’s. The design of the camera is a heavy metal with a built in stand/ tripod on the bottom. Also pictured are Kodak lens cases as well as the original camera case.
This vintage image was captured in the dark with the combination of still art and light painting. A slightly green flashlight glow created this unique vintage image of the past, today in the present.
Light painting is a photographic technique that uses a moving light source to increase light to a darkened subject or area while taking a long-exposure photograph. A beam of light can illuminate an object or an area thus creating a spectacular photographic image.

Artist Bio/Statement Bio Deborah Klubertanz was born in 1962 in the state of Illinois. Purchasing her first camera at age 19 opened up her world to many possibilities. Portrait photography was her start into the photography world. Later Deborah would choose to photograph night cityscapes. Darkness through the view finder has opened up her creative inner self. Deborah's work can be seen at "The Grinde Cafe" in Racine County. Her work can also be viewed and purchased on her own web page. Deborah wants nothing more than to show her creativity in her photography and to open a gallery one day.
